Warranty & Returns

Zacatak Lures have a superior quality that represent the workmanship and attention to detail that we uphold. However if, for any reason, you are not satisfied after receiving your order, please follow the steps outlined below.

Zacatak Lures honours our obligation under the Australian Consumer Law and provide you with an exchange, refund or compensation if an item has a major problem.  This is when the item: 

    1. has a problem that would have stopped you buying it had you known about the problem;
    2. is unsafe;
    3. is significantly different from the description or sample shown to you; or
    4. does not do what we said it would, or what you asked for and cannot be easily fixed.

If the problem is not major we may choose to repair the item within a reasonable time. If a faulty item cannot be repaired, a replacement or refund will be offered. Zacatak Lures cannot control the availability of replacement goods. 

For warranty claims, proof of purchase is required and we reserve the right to assess the condition and age of any returned goods prior to offering an exchange, refund, compensation or repair.

Zacatak Lures has no control over third party manufacturer warranty periods, nor can we control repair periods and cannot advise what they will be. We will however do everything we can to ensure your faulty item is handled as quickly as possible and that you are informed throughout the process. In cases where you have returned goods directly to the manufacturer, Zacatak Lures cannot be held accountable for repair periods or communication from the manufacturer.

Refunds are issued in the same tender as the original purchase. For example, if the item was purchased using a Visa card, the credit will be refunded to the same Visa card. Delivery costs are excluded from any refund issued.

Please note that Zacatak Lures reserves the right not to accept returns for 'change of mind' only, due to the customised nature of our product. There is no warranty provided for mirror cracks or breakages on the 'Zacatak Doctor Teaser'.

You must contact us prior to returning any item to obtain approval for the return and receive a Returns ID. 

We aim to have returns processed within three working days of receiving the item; however please note that some product faults may require the approval of the manufacturer before a refund or replacement can be issued. This process may take up to ten working days.
